staff engineer: leadership beyond the management track

It was an exciting read that allowed me to familiarise myself with the Staff Engineer role and what type of challenges Staff Engineers focus on solving within the industry. Although this role is not very well defined as different companies interpret Staff Engineers’ responsibilities differently, and it’s relatively new, this book helps engineers understand what they should expect to perform at the Staff Engineer level. I enjoyed insightful stories by engineers from companies like Stripe, Dropbox, Slack, Etsy, etc. And the resources Will provides at the end of the book are fantastic!
